Dr. J. Randall Price
Dr. J. Randall Price received his master’s degree (Th.M.) from Dallas Theological Seminary in Old Testament and Semitic Languages and his doctorate (Ph.D.) from The University of Texas at Austin in Middle Eastern Studies with a concentration in Jewish studies and biblical archaeology. He has also done graduate work in Semitic languages and archaeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Dr. Price is Distinguished Research Professor and the Executive Director of the Center for Judaic Studies at Liberty University and Curator of the Liberty Biblical Museum. He is also Adjunct Professor of Apologetics at Veritas Seminary (San Diego, California).
In 1993, Dr. Price founded World of the Bible Ministries, Inc. and has served as its President and traveling speaker since.
Dr. Randall Price has been the director of excavations on the Qumran Plateau (site of the Dead Sea Scroll community) in Israel since 2002. He is a member of the American Schools of Oriental Research (ASOR), the Near East Archaeological Society (NEAS), the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL), the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS), the Tyndale House Fellowship, and the Institute of Biblical Research (IBR).
Dr. Price is the author or co-author of 30 books and has produced five films in Israel. In 2013 he won a Telly Award for his part in the Lutheran Hour production of The Bible on Trial: Beyond a Reasonable Doubt.
Dr. Price also serves on the boards of the Pre-Trib Research Center, the Associates for Biblical Research (reference board, Bible & Spade magazine), and Olive Tree Ministries.
He and his wife Beverlee have four daughters and one son (three in full-time Christian ministry) and eight grandchildren.
