Joining LCJE
Thank you for your interest in joining the Lausanne Consultation on Jewish Evangelism (LCJE). We are believers in Yeshua (Jesus) who come from numerous evangelical churches and denominations, and from many walks of life, but we stand together on the Lausanne Covenant and on our conviction that Jewish people deserve to hear the Gospel of Jesus the Messiah just like everyone else.
The Lausanne Covenant is a simple and basic statement of fundamental Christian beliefs. Click here to read it.
In order to join LCJE, you must affirm that you are in “substantial agreement” with the covenant. You don’t necessarily have to dot all the i’s or cross all of the t’s in exactly the same way, but you agree with the overall, evangelical thrust of the document. That’s the intent.
You will also need personal references from two current LCJE members. If you don’t yet have any acquaintances in LCJE, write to us and we’ll help you with this.
To complete the membership process, go to the international LCJE website and click on “join.” Write your two personal references (name, address, phone number) on a piece of paper along with a statement to the effect that you are in substantial agreement with the Lausanne Covenant, decide which type of membership you need, enclose a check for the annual dues (explained on the website), and mail everything to the address indicated (currently in Virginia).
Joining the international LCJE automatically makes you a member of LCJE North America and makes you eligible for the reduced “member” rate for our conferences.
In addition to North America, LCJE chapters are active in Australasia, Europe, and other parts of the world.
If you have any further questions about the membership process, feel free to write to our North American secretary: na-secretary@lcje.net.
