Susan Perlman

Susan Perlman

UnknownSusan Perlman grew up in a traditional Jewish home in Brooklyn, New York.  Her parents, both Jewish, raised her in the Orthodox Jewish faith.  However, as a young adult she came to faith in Jesus through the witness of Christian folk rock singer, Larry Norman.  Two years later, in 1973, she helped found the largest Jewish mission agency in the world, Jews for Jesus.

Susan is Communications Director for the organization, overseeing all their publications, new books and films, multi-media, web, secular media outreaches, and press relations. She also serves as the first assistant to the organization’s executive director, David Brickner. Perlman is a sought after speaker, writer, and key spokesperson for the ministry.

She also serves on the US and European boards of Jews for Jesus, Dallas Theological Seminary and MissioNexus. She was a contributor to the Nelson Study Bible and is the editorial consultant for the Messianic Times. She’s been actively involved with LCJE from its inception and her informative and entertaining “media report” has become a standard (and much appreciated) feature at our annual LCJE meetings here in North America.
